BIRDS CRIES is an ode to Amina’s love for music first and dance second. In the G.Incubator, she will research and digg into rhythm patterns and concepts and their association with movement and choreography.  

For a 2 days 2 hours, she invites dancers in her playground to explore movements, gestures, synchronicity and rhythm. Intrigued with the question of how the dancer’s body is affected by rhythms, repetitions, and groove. Inspired by how the notion of performativity, imagination, and fantasy, stories that are fueled by a dancer’s sense of rhythm and physicality can emerge on stage.

In this workshop, dancers will work together and alone, on finding a connection between them and the music.
