BIRDS CRIES is an ode to her love for music first and dance second. Her studio time would revolve around researching and digging into rhythm patterns and concepts and their association with movement and choreography. Her work is intrigued with the question of how the dancer’s body is affected by rhythms, repetitions, and groove. Inspired by the notion of performativity, imagination, and fantasy, stories that are fueled by a dancer’s sense of rhythm and physicality can emerge on stage.
