FR/AN
On a production line of 120 beats per minute, three dancers of different generations examine the theme of escape. The reports – tourist documentaries – are mixed with nightclub rituals in search of ways to enter a somaholiday state as described by Aldous Huxley in the dystopic novel Brave New World – an artificially induced catharsis, a threshold towards a more real reality without guilt, shame or civic responsibility. Created the previous year, notably at the Garage29, Somaholidays returns in its full form this year to close the OFFestival and invites the public to enter « soma holidays ». The show will not stop to turn into a celebration and end in the early morning.
