LEIF FIRNHABER / WORKSHOP

13-17.04.2015/GARAGE29

Simplifying. Looking at your tools with new eyes. Rather then creating more complexity, this workshop will focus on studying the patterns by which we move and relate to other people. Chapters are diverse and not linear: Autonomous work on developing personal movement and presence, use of rhythmical constructions to deconstruct installed behaviors, projections and predictability, intimacy and exposure, instantaneous compositions, etc. The approach to these subjects is build on a playful ground, a fully involved physicality and concentration. This workshop is addressed to dancers and performers that have previously developed through movement. No particular techniques are required, just curiosity and work discipline.

Applications are opened at legarage29@gmail.com.
