Josephine Tilloy is a dancer and choreographer. She started dancing at the International Academy of Dance, at the conservatories of Montreuil and Evry. She continued her studies at the University of Paris 8 in theater, then in dance and at the Rencontres Internationales de Danse Contemporaine. She perfected her training by integrating the Dance and Choreographic Practices certificate of Charleroi Danse, La Cambre, INSAS, and ULB.
Josephine is now a performer in pieces by Claire Gerald, Bouchra Ouizguen and recently in a performance by Marco Berrettini.
As an author, she begins the writing of gesture at the crossroads of artistic languages through collaborations with artists, musicians and directors in France, Belgium and Tunisia. Through the distancing, the second degree and a musical body matter, Josephine declines in her creations the dramaturgical tools in a specific matter in order to create a fiction around a subject of society. To implement her projects, she created in 2019 the production structure vibrisses. Her first creation Rosalie, deals with seduction and opens at the end on a new question, that of sexuality.
Evila is the second part of this creation thought as a dyptic. It is with this second project that Joséphine integrates this year the G.INCUBATOR, a staging of the collective imagination that exists around the sexualization of women in its most stereotyped dimension.
