It starts with a leg drama. It goes to the floor and crawls back up the windows…for now. Because of a constant feeling of emergency, hands up and kiss me tight, for the drum, for the trance to arrive in the body, to make it baby to our final destination. “Because we know we shall not know the one veritable transitory power”… we dance on an Owl’s Lullaby that Father’s sing where we come from. It’s a sad song but it’s mostly purifying, because of the Fire.
Because of the fire we raise our voice. We are the children, we are the dancers , no we are the soldiers, we are of Music and Poetry, we are of the Great Lakes of Canada and of the Mountains of Slovakia heading into the unknown. . .

Clara Furey
The performer and musician Clara Furey, graduate of Les Ateliers de Danse Moderne de Montréal, has worked with many choreographers such as Catherine Gaudet on a contemporary version of Romeo and Juliet and with Daina Ashbee, a new radical Canadian choreographer, Benoît Lachambre, Céline Bonnier, or Michikazu Matsune. Recently, she is working on her collaboration with Peter Jasko.
Clara is moreover a singer-songwriter and has been performing piano and singing for the last 15 years. She was part of the festival Voix d’Amérique with the piece “Body and Soul”. In 2014, she performed in Guy Maddin’s new film (the Forbidden Room), an art movie that will be shown at the MOMA, at Beaubourg and at the Phi Center.
Peter Jasko
After graduate at the Conservatory J.L. Bella of dance, Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, then at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Bratislava just before entering at the international school of dance P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels (2002), Peter Jasko worked with Zuzana Hajkova, Opera Banska Bystrica, ASpO, Company Roberto Olivan, OXOXOX – Juri Konjar, G. Barberio Corsetti, Fatou Traore, Company Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (MYTH creation 2007).
Since 2001, Peter is collaborating with David Zambrano as a performer and also as an assistant for his classes and workshops. Peter Jasko is co-founder of Les SlovaKs Dance Collective.
