The dreamer is the one who does not accomplish. Who does not work and does not produce. It is an asocial body, which serves only its imaginary world. Just like this sensation of falling experienced at the border of sleep, the dream imposes on us a loss of control, the vanishing of our usual logics.
In this first phase of solo research, Jeanne Colin explores, with the caution of a scuba diver, the possibilities of a somnambulant dance. She questions the imprint that dreams leave on our bodies and our gestures, the need to go through certain emotions, the recurrence of a motif, the simultaneous experience of deep relaxation and fear.
