TalkShow – Not Knowing How Much Time It Takes

FR/EN

10.11.2022 at 7:30pm at LaVallée !

Choreographer questions in her project  »  » the concept of time as a social construct that she attempts to embody in various ways. She will share the space with ceramic artist who has come to create her vases in the space to the rhythm of the dancer’s movements.

For weeks, they cohabit in é’s 5.1 room. One of them explores time through dance, starting from her body and giving birth to ephemeral movements by essence. As if by mirror effect, the other starts from movement to create through her gestures a palpable material, a physical object that can claim eternity. For one, movement is the goal, for the other it is the means.

A celebration of the encounter between arts, one of movement, the other of matter, one ephemeral, the other inscribed in duration, creative processes inscribed in quite distinct temporalities but brought together for weeks in the same place, in one and the same time…

On the last day, the public is invited to take part in this artistic cohabitation so far in a closed space. Come and discover what happens when artists from different disciplines allow themselves to be contaminated by each other’s universe!
