Not Knowing How Much Time It Takes explores the concept of time both in the performative and the public (urban) space. The aim is to question the social and ecological construction of time wherein we live through a participative creation process.

Jenneke wants to combine the concept of time with a participatory approach of performance to discover a way to let the audience perceive, experience and even embody time. With this alternative approach to theatre, Jenneke believes it is possible to deconstruct the concept of time. Therefore she would like to invest in a participatory creation process with performative elements, called Not Knowing How Much Time It Takes, that embodies time in a variety of ways to create a certain awareness on this topic. Within her project Jenneke wants to explore the limits of « boredom » and (time) inefficiency in movement and performance. She strives for a project that creates consciousness on standing still and being aware of time passing by.
